The watch–which works with or without the included chest strap–delivers an accurate heart rate measurement every time, making it easy to gauge the efficiency of your workout routine. The watch tracks such details as average heart rate, maximum heart rate during exercise, percentage of maximum heart rate achieved, total fat burn, and total calories burned. The high/low target zone alarm, meanwhile, lets you know when you’ve reached your target rate or whether you’re loafing a bit too much during a run. Perhaps the handiest feature, however, is the hybrid functionality, which lets you measure your heart rate from either your wrist or your chest. Note that the chest strap is considered faster and more accurate, however. Other details include a traditional time-of-day function, an alarm, and a 100-hour stopwatch.
About Reebok
Reebok’s United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder’s grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.
