Customer Reviews

I returned this book! by Leeann Vansloten
I was going to give this book to a close relative and their son when they lost their baby. But I was very disappointed in this book. I actually thought that it was horrible! I myself would not recommend it to anyone especially not someone you love and care about! However I did purchase Mommy, please don’t cry… There Are No Tears In Heaven by Linda Deymaz!

It was much better and I do recommend it for anyone!

Very helpful for small children by G. almonte
I bought this book after our son passed at 24 weeks and was stillborn. This book helped our five year old better understand that although his little brother is not physcially with us but always in our hearts. I could not finish reading the book initally w/o crying but my husband finished it for our little one. The ending is sad but it’s fine because you always expected happy ending but it doesn’t always happen that way. I can relate to the ending because I know my son is in a better place w/o pain but if I had it my way he would be home instead.

Simple, short and soo clear by J. Nerlich Lima
I wish no parent had to buy a book like this. That no parent had to tell his son/daughter such sad news. But it’s somehow part of life. Unfair or not… it happens.

This book illustrated in a perfect way how we were all prepared and excited to welcome OUR baby. And indeed, something happed.

My son is four and realized that family and friends were here because they were sad. And indeed, he believes that it would be more fun to have a brother than an angel.

He felt sorry for the boy in the story and added that the same happened to him. It touched him. Then, he browsed silently through the pages.

The first time my husband and I read it, we could not help but cry. Every word was true.

I just wish, no kid would not have to go through this…

Offered nothing by Ginglaw
I thought this book was horrible. It didn’t do anything to help my stepdaughters understand the death of their little sister and made me feel worse. Much preferred is Mommy, please don’t cry, there are no tears in heaven. It was just a better understanding as to where my baby daughter is today.
